It started with a single ground in Shahdara.
A borrowed field, a handful of children, and the stubborn belief that play could rewrite what was possible.
In 2023, we walked onto a dusty patch in East Delhi with a football and a question: what if the field could belong to the girls of this neighbourhood too?
The first practice had four children. The second had eleven. By the third month, mothers were sitting at the edge of the ground, then stepping in themselves.
What began as one session has grown into a movement of programs, partnerships and young leaders across two states — but the DNA is unchanged. Show up. Play together. Trust the ground.
